    The full two-stage audit used to award a first-time certificate. Stage 1 is a remote document and readiness review of your management system against the chosen standard(s). Stage 2 is the implementation audit — your auditor samples evidence clause-by-clause, interviews key people online and confirms the system is working in practice. Pass and you receive an accredited certificate (AIUK ATB21227) valid for three years, with light-touch surveillance audits in years 1 and 2.     Renew your certificate for another three-year cycle.

    At the end of every three-year cycle we run a Recertification Audit to confirm your system is still effective and continually improving. It is a full re-evaluation — broader than a surveillance visit — covering management review, internal audit results, performance trends and any changes since your last audit. We schedule it in good time so your certificate never lapses, and where you hold multiple standards we recertify them together in one integrated audit to save days and cost.
